About Cogir USA
Cogir USA, LLC is the US manufacturer and supplier of Cogir Glass
(see below) located in Comiso, in southern 
Italy. At Cogir
USA we utilize the same high-quality methods for producing our fine
decorated glass products, except that we exclusively use Pittsburgh Corning
Glass Block® on which to apply our distinctive
designs. This means that you get Italian design and artistry
on high-quality, standard-sized glass block.
In addition, by bringing the manufacturing process to the U.S., you get a quicker turn-around time on custom orders. Many designs are in stock, ready to be shipped to you from our location in North-Central Florida.
About Cogir Glass - Comiso, Italy
Cogir Glass s.r.l. was born in 1992 in Comiso, through the action of some local businessmen whose pursuit was to increase in value what for centuries had been one of the compelling elements of the local economy and culture: craftsmanship.
The city of Comiso has always been the center of the literary and figurative Iblean culture. It has been active until today thanks to the very important work of the Istituto Statale Arte (National Institute of Art) where pupils from all over Sicily are prepared to become real art-masters. This is the source from which Cogir Glass draws profusely; it entrusts the planning and working of its products to bona fide collaborators, obtaining its own lines: Vetri Artistici per Arredare (Artistic Glass for Furnishings) & Terre Cotte Mediterranee (Mediterranean Terra Cotta).
In 1998, Cogir Glass, owing to logistic and production
requirements, moved its factory and offices into a new and blooming
Industrial Area in Chiaramonte. 
This has enabled a considerable increase in
production, due to the acquisition of new high-powered kilns, but
above all to the acquisition of specialized human resources. In our
continuing efforts to present products that combine tradition and
new trends, technology and a taste for the classic, the company
been able to produce a unique, high-quality product line. As
a consequence, it has organized its production system on the basis
of the themes provided by the UNI EN ISO 9001 standards; moreover
it is proud to be part of the companies represented by
Assopiastrelle (National association of the producers of floor
tiles, ceramics and refractory materials).
Our glass block products are placed exclusively on Pittsburgh Corning Glass Block®.
